For Premium & High-End Concrete Coatings
Bite Epoxy is committed to delivering long-lasting, high-performance epoxy flooring systems for residential clients. We offer a standard 1-year limited warranty with all premium and high-end epoxy coatings installed by Bite Epoxy. A 3-year extended warranty is available for purchase at an additional cost Extended warranty must be requested and paid for prior to or at the time of installation.
What This Warranty Covers
When applied to concrete surfaces under normal residential conditions, this warranty covers:
- Peeling or Delamination – Loss of adhesion between the epoxy coating and the properly prepared concrete substrate.
- Discoloration – Unusual or premature fading, yellowing, or discoloration (excluding UV-related changes unless a UV-stable topcoat is included).
- Cracking – Surface cracks in the coating not caused by movement or failure of the underlying concrete.
- Premature Wear – Excessive wear of the coating under normal residential use.
This warranty applies only to coatings installed directly by Bite Epoxy on residential concrete
surfaces.
What’s Not Covered
This warranty does not cover:
- Damage caused by neglect, abuse, impact, dragging heavy objects, or misuse
- Moisture-related issues such as vapor transmission, hydrostatic pressure, flooding, or water intrusion
- Stains or damage from harsh chemicals, oils, or cleaners not approved for use on epoxy
- Substrate issues including concrete movement, cracks, heaving, or settling
- vehicles, or outdoor elements if not designed for exterior use
- Any modifications, repairs, or alterations not performed by Bite Epoxy
- Cosmetic wear or surface marks consistent with normal use
Warranty Conditions
To maintain coverage:
- The coating must be installed by Bite Epoxy
- The concrete surface must be properly prepped and suitable for epoxy (as determined by Bite Epoxy).
- Homeowner must follow provided care and maintenance guidelines.
- Any warranty claim must be reported within 30 days of discovering the issue.
Transferability
This warranty is non-transferable and is valid only for the original homeowner at the time of installation.
Resolution
If a valid warranty issue is confirmed, Bite Epoxy will repair or recoat the affected area at our discretion. Refunds are not offered under this warranty.
